Meeting industry technology demands by embracing transformation challenges and exploring innovations

With the progress of digital channels, emergence of alternative payment methods and increase of customer demands, banking is quickly changing its face and shape to adapt to the new realities. IT innovation is no longer a question, it’s a necessity.

The recent launch of eFAWATEERcom portal indicates the intentions of the Central Bank of Jordan to digitize banking and stimulate e-channel adoption among customers.

As e-commerce market continues to grow year on year, the need for fraud solutions and technology upgrade is placing more pressure on banks. Banking transformation projects pop up across the Levant more frequently as governments urge to keep up with the technology.

Following the success, of the previous two events, the Banking Technology Levant summit is taking place for the 3rd time in Amman, Jordan on 23 – 24 May 2016. Once again, it will bring the leading Information Technology, Security, Risk and E-channels experts together to discuss the future of banking in the region and ways to make it smarter.
